  1. I have read today’s excellent article in the Herald. I have in my possession a medal presented by the SFA for the Challenge Cup played for in 1875-6 and won by Queen’s Park. The player was David McGill. I also have copy of the SFA’s Football Annual 1875-86 with all the rules and a list of players involved at that time. (David McGill was a great great uncle I think.
